Don’t forget your holiday bonus

In 2021 the holiday bonus for VR members is ISK 52,000 for those working a full-time job, and is to be paid out on June 1st. A full-time job is 45 weeks worked in 100% work excluding holiday time during the holiday reference year from 1 May 2020 to 30 April 2021.

VR offers its members a subsidy for domestic accommodation costs during the summer of 2021. VR pays members grants so that the bill for domestic accommodation is subsidized by 70% but to a maximum of ISK 10,000. for each member. This is offered temporarily due to COVID-19.
