On 1. January 2022 pay scales will increase by 25.000 ISK and a general wage increase will be 17.250 ISK.

Did you get your December wage bonus?

A special December wage bonus shall be paid no later than 15. December, each year, according to VR's collective wage agreement. The December wage bonus amount for 2021, for a full-time job, is ISK 96,000.

VR members, please take note that due to the holidays, applications for grants from, the VR Sick Pay fund, VR Contingency fund and the Vocational Training funds, must be submitted no later than Monday 13. December in order for you to receive payment of grants before the end of the year.
