VR meets with members at Keflavík Airport

Representatives of VR‘s Negotiations Committee met with Icelandair staff in passenger and baggage services at Keflavík Airport today, March 8, 2024, to discuss the announced vote on a call to strike. VR‘s representatives answered the questions of members and listened to their concerns about conditions, work arrangements and employment terms.

Icelandair's passenger and baggage services staff at Keflavík Airport represent the airline's frontline and care about both their job and the passengers they serve. They have repeatedly called for a correction of their employment terms and work environment as well as respect at work.

Voting commences Monday morning where the employees can express their thoughts on a call to strike. Voting closes at noon on Thursday, March 14.
