Rights of VR members during strike and lockout

VR would like to point out to its members that neither a possible lockout by SA (Confederation of Icelandic Enterprise) nor a strike by Efling apply to VR members. VR members are entitled to their wages, regardless of whether the company's operations where they work are disrupted or closed due to a strike by Efling or a lockout by SA that covers the work by Efling´s members at the company.

VR would like to reiterate that employers are not allowed to request that VR's members take on the work of Efling's members during a strike. The same applies to lockout action.
