Learn all you can about the Icelandic job market and how to approach your career development. Kathryn will cover practical tips on personal branding, job searching, and networking. This hybrid workshop is designed to inform and inspire VR union members at any career stage, offering guidance for a more informed job search in Iceland. The workshop will be held in English.

Kathryn Gunnarsson is the founder of Geko, an agency focusing on talent working within the Tech and Innovation Sector. She moved to Iceland in 2016 from London and brought with her over 20 years of recruitment experience and used it as an opportunity to fill a gap in Iceland and support companies hiring great talent within this sector. She is passionate about people, human interaction and supporting companies and teams to understand the benefit of building diverse and inclusive teams.

The workshop will be held in VR’s meeting room on the 9th floor of Kringlan 7. Morning refreshments will be provided for those attending in person. Also possible to participate via Teams.
